As a Project Delivery Manager, you are the one who maintains oversight of the project scope, sets the direction throughout the entire project lifecycle, and adjusts course where necessary. You lead large-scale implementations for (inter)national financial institutions and ensure they run smoothly and in a structured manner — from intake and planning to go-live and handover to support.

Within the Customer Success & Implementation team, you operate at the intersection of technology, processes, and stakeholder management. Without having direct hierarchical responsibility, you are the driving force behind the project and ensure that predefined goals are achieved, both internally and for the client.

What you will do as a Project Delivery Manager

You will lead end-to-end implementations for one or multiple clients, with a strong focus on scope, planning, and expectation management.

Throughout the entire project, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the client, including at C-level. You proactively identify risks and dependencies at an early stage and take corrective action to keep projects on track. When needed, you are comfortable having challenging conversations to safeguard progress.

In close collaboration with Product Owners, you align on feasibility, delivery timelines, and any missing functionalities. You also coordinate between Implementation Consultants, Product Owners, and other internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of project status, progress, and priorities.

By taking a leading role in steering committees and status meetings, you contribute to timely decision-making and create clarity around changes, dependencies, and timelines. In doing so, you mitigate risks and maintain continuous control over deadlines and project progress. 

What you bring as a Project Delivery Manager

You have extensive experience in project management within environments where complexity is the norm and where the stakes are high. You take ownership and maintain control, even when projects are under pressure.

You bring:

  • Proven experience as a project manager within complex B2B software implementations
  • Experience working with corporate clients and managing a wide range of stakeholders at both operational and management levels
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • A sharp eye for scope, planning, and risk management
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams without direct hierarchical responsibility
  • Willingness to travel to clients both domestically and internationally
  • At least a bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking, and availability for 32 to 40 hours per week
