Closing the global MSME funding gap

Many MSMEs operate in a grey zone between consumer credit and corporate finance. They often lack tax records, credit scores or even formal registration. In regions like Asia and Africa, this makes them hard to assess using traditional models.

Legacy systems depend on paperwork and in-person reviews. They’re slow, subjective and built for structured borrowers. As a result, millions of viable businesses remain unfunded not because they’re high risk, but because the system isn’t built for them.
